Kiora is a charming weather-boarded family house built in 1904 and first sold in 1906 for £800. Nestled at the foot of Tankerton Slopes, it offers stunning sea views and a perfect blend of historic charm and modern comforts. Kiora is situated as close the beach as you can get (without getting your feet wet), just to the East of Whitstable Harbour. The house has had five owners with my parents being the fifth when they bought it in 1992.
Kiora features three generously sized double bedrooms and one twin room. There is one bathroom downstairs at the back of the house which has a toilet and a deep bath; a shower is fitted over the bath with a large shower head. There is also a separate toilet adjacent to the bathroom. All four of the bedrooms have wash basins.

Absolutely! Kiora is a family-friendly property with plenty of space for everyone. The beachfront location and nearby attractions make it an ideal choice for families. We provide plenty of toys, buckets and spades, balls, scooters, and many other bits and pieces so you don’t have to bring everything with you.
You’re perfectly placed for a seaside adventure. Nearby highlights include Whitstable Castle and Gardens, the oyster market, Tankerton Slopes, the Harbour Market, Whitstable Museum and Gallery, and the town’s independent shops, cafés and restaurants. You can also head to Canterbury Cathedral, just a 15-minute drive away, for a rewarding day out.
